Steelcase Leap-Overview
Steelcase leap is one of the best chair I have ever used, because of its functionality and adjustability options. If you don’t know much about Steelcase, Steelcase chairs are famous for their advanced ergonomics design from scientific research on posture and movement.
They offer high adjustability, allowing users to customize the chair to their body and work style.
Steelcase chairs are extremely durable and built for long hours of daily use.
Their premium design, comfort, and long warranty make them a trusted choice in professional offices worldwide.
Steelcase Leap-Seat

You can slide the seat pan in or out to get a better fit for your legs, which makes sitting feel much more natural.
It takes pressure off the back of your knees and keeps you comfortable even after long hours at your desk.
Seat pad is firm and thin. This is a standard feature in premium ergonomic chairs. The thick pad cushion used in budget chairs reduces the blood flow, make you warm and put more stress on lower back. I find the Steelcase leap seat not comfortable in the beginning and also I face some back pain initially bit I gave some time to this chair and after some weeks my back was feeling relaxed and much comfortable than ever. So If you are used to sit on a budget chair, then you may not find the seat cushion comfortable in the starting but after some time of sitting on this cushion you can feel the difference. Steelcase leap is designed for long term health. Overall seat is very comfortable ,however some people might find that there is little padding on the tailbone area which leads to pain in tailbone.
Steelcase Leap-Headrest
Headrest is not worth buying. Plastic feels cheap and you can only adjust the height of the headrest. Buying a headrest for $150-$200 is not worth. If you are looking for the perfect headrest you can choose the headrest with Steelcase Gesture, it is one of the best headrests I have ever used.
Steelcase Leap-Lumbar Support

The lumbar support is fully adjustable.
You can easily adjust the height of the lumbar by grabbing the two tabs on the side and sliding them up and down.
Foe some people the lumbar support might feel aggressive, for this you can remove the lumbar support and the natural curve of the chair will support your back perfectly. You can also fix the lumbar support later.
Steelcase Leap-Design and backrest
I find the Steelcase leap design simple and not very stylish like the Herman miller chairs. You can have a lot of different upholstery colour options to choose according to your office.
Backrest is one of the strongest feature of Steelcase Leap. The one thing which is my favourite is its flexibility. It basically supports the natural movement of your spine. Its backrest properly supports your back when you are stretching or changing your position which really helps in long working sessions.
